FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1972 MATADOR STATION WAGON FOR USE BY THE PARKS DIRECTOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Ray H. Mullen Motor Company, Inc. for sale to the City of one 1972 Matador Station Wagon for use by the Parks Director, in the amount of $4,446.50, less $978.99, for a trade-in allowance on a 1955 Chevrolet station wagon, making a net cash price of $3,467.51, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and the advertisement for bids as was authorized by a resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on April 25, 1972, and as contained in the bid of Ray H. Mullen Motor Company, Inc. dated May 12, 1972. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Ray H. Mullen Motor Company, Inc. for sale to the City of the property and equipment as authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all requirements heretofore approved and incorporated in said bid. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
