FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO (2) CORRUGATED ALUMINUM STRUCTURAL PLATE INTEGRAL ARCH CULVERTS TO BE USED IN STREET CON- STRUCTION IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Sales, Inc., for the sale to the City of two (2) corrugated aluminum structural plate integral arch culverts to be used in street construction in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, said bid being dated March 31, 1970 in words and figures as follows: I. Aluminum Strustural Plate Integral Arch 12' - 15" Span x 6'-9" Rise by 40' long with square ends as advertised. Crown Plates to be .175 gauge and Invert Plates to be .100 gauge. To be delivered and assembled at job site by Hy -Lo Supply for the lump sum price of $3,234.20 Plus 5% Kentucky Sales Tax if applicable. 2. Aluminum Structural Plate Integral Arch 14'-10" x 7'-0' rise by 50' long with square ends as advertised. Crown plates to be .175 gauge and Invert Plates to be .100 gauge. To be delivered and assembled at job site by Ky-Lo Supply for the lump sum price of 4,446.50 Plus 5% Kentucky Sales Tax if applicable. Delivery as requested within two weeks. Said bid being in substantial compliance with the resolution authorizing bids dated March 10, 1970. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase of said culverts as requested in said resolution and as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted 106 shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
