AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO CONVEY
TO MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY, CERTAIN LAND KNOWN AS THE GRAVEL PIT
PROPERTY ON THE STARR HILL ROAD, IN CONSIDERATION OF SAID COUNTY
PERFORMING CERTAIN WORK ON THE ROADWAY KNOWN AS YEISER STREET
EXTENSION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OFCOMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. For and in consideration of McCracken County, Kentucky
performing the following work on a roadway known as Yeiser Street
extension from the point of Paducah City Limits to connect at U. S.
Highways 60, 62, and 68,
1. Reduce existing ground grade to normal road
gradient.
2. Install sufficient length of 48" C.M.P. to
accommodate road bed at creek crossing.
3. Construct road subgrade being 30 feet in
width for a depth of 12 inches and backfill
with bank gravel
4. Construct side ditches to accommodate road
drainage,
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey
to McCracken County, Kentucky, the gravel pit property of the City on the
Starr Hill Road, conveyed to the City of Paducah by deed dated April 3,
1941, of record in Deed Book 210, page 81 in the office of the Clerk
of the McCracken County Court, as described in said deed, but with no
covenant of warranty as to title and subject to any state of facts
that'might be.shown by in accurate.survey.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
