AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF DUNCAN PARKING METER CORPORATION
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF FIFTY (50) PARKING METER HEADS, PRESCRIBING
THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SUCH PURCHASE, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE SAPS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of Duncan Parking Meter Corporation for the sale to the City of fifty
(50) Duncan Yodel "60" Nleter heads at $65.00 each, less trade-in
allowance on fifty (50) used meter heads at $$.00 each, making a
total delivery cost to the City of $57.00 per meter head, or a total
price of $2,850.00 for fifty (50) meter heads. The meter heads shall
be according to specifications contained in the Resolution adopted on
February 28, 1967 by the Board of Commissioners of said City authorizing
the City Manager to advertise for bids for such equipment and contained
in the proposal and bid of said Duncan Parking Meter Corporation,
including one complete spare mechanism and an assortment of spare parts
sufficient for one year's normal maintenance requirement. If the
entire purchase price is paid within sixty (60) days from the execution
of the contract, a cash discount of 5/ of the purchase price will be
allowed.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said meter heads as
set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days tiereafter.
