A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF A
FIRST AMENDATORY CONTRACT, AMENDING GRANT CONTRACT FOR CODE ENFORCEMENT
PROGRAM NO. KY. E -1(G), BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IENTUCKY,
AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The pending proposed First Amendatory Contract
(herein called the "Amendatory Contract"), to amend that certain
Grant Contract for Code Enforcement Program No. Ky. E -(G), dated
the 12th day of July, 1968, by and between the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, (herein called the "Grantee") and the United States of
America (herein called the "Government"), is hereby in all respects
approved, said Amendatory Contract containing the following agreement.
The existing contract is hereby amended as follows:
1. By deleting from Section 7(a) of Part I thereof the
amount of Seventy-five Thousand ($75,000.00) Dollars and inserting in lieu
thereof the amount of Three Hundred Seventy-five Thousand($375,000.00)
Dollars.
2. By deleting from Section 8 of Part I thereof the amount
of Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty=one ($7,851.00) and inserting
in lieu thereof the amount Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-one
($8,751.00).
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to execute the Amendatory Contract in two counterparts on behalf of
the Grantee, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
impress and attest the official seal of the Grantee on each such
counterpart and to forward such counterparts to the Department of
Housing and Urban Development for execution on behalf of the Government,
together with such other documents relative to the approval and
execution of such counterparts as may be required by the Government.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
