ORDINANCE NO. 69-3-190
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF RICHERSON EQUIPMENT
COMPANY FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW LAWN TRACTOR FOR USE
IN THE CEMETERY DEPARTMENT, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the
bid of Richerson Equipment Company in the sum of $1,476.47 for the sale
to the City of one (1) new John Deere Model 140 lawn tractor having the
specifications as set out in the Resolution adopted February 20, 1969,
by the Board of Commissioners of the City, authorizing advertisement
for bids for such equipment, and contained in the bid of Richerson
Equipment Company dated March 3, 1969.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for said tractor as set out in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in -which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
