ORDINANCE NO. 69-3-181
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF JIMMY L. HARBER TO PURCHASE
THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN PROPERTY AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER
OF 14TH STREET AND RUDY AVENUE THEREIN, FOR THE SUM OF $455.05, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Jimmy L. Harber in the amount of
$455.05 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in certain
property therein, be accepted, said property being described as follows:
Lot 12, Block 9, Rowlandtown, at the northeast
corner of 14th Street and Rudy Avenue, fronting
50 feet on east side of Rudy, and as shown on page
79 0£ Block Map Book 3 in the office of the City
Engineer.
Being the same property conveyed to the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, by City Treasurer's Tax Sale
deed dated February 21, 1969, of record in Deed
Book 506, page 469, McCracken County Court Clerk's
office.
SECTION 2. On payment of the sum of $455.05 to the City
Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to convey to Jimmy L. Harber all right, title and interest of the City
in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance
shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title, and shall
be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
