ORDINANCE NO. 69-2-176
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH BRICK AND SUPPLY
COMPANY, INC. TO FURNISH THE CITY WITH CULVERT PIPE & ACCESSORIES TO BE
USED IN CONNECTION WITH SEWER AND DRAINAGE CONSTRUCTION WORK, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of Paducah Brick and Supply Company, Inc. to furnish the City with
culvert pipe and accessories, to be used in connection with sewer and
drainage construction work, as follows:
160 ft. 72" R. C. P. Class IV
C -76-60T Rubber Joints $52.65 per ft.
Plus 5% Sales Tax. Delivered to Jobsite
Less 2% cash discount 10th. Prox.
The City Manager is hereby authorized -to enter into and execute
a contract for the purchase of said material as herein set out, and
to purchase the approximate amount indicated, more or less, as will best
meet the needs of the city in such construction work.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
