ORDINANCE NO. 69-2-174
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF RAY H. MULLEN MOTOR COMPANY,
INC. FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF FOUR (4) NEW 1969 AMBASSADOR 4 -DOOR SEDAN
AUTOMOBILES, MODEL 6985-2 FOR USE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH
PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Ray H.
Mullen Motor Company, Inc. in the amount of $15,540.00, less $8,146.00
for trade-in of three (3) police cars Nos. 1, 3 and 5, making a net
total of $7,394.00 for the sale to the City of four (4) new 1969
Ambassador 4 -door Sedan automobiles, Model 6985-2, having the
specifications set out in the Resolution adopted December 27, 1968
by the Board of Commissioners of said city authorizing advertisement
for bids for such equipment, and contained in the bid of said Ray H.
Mullen Motor Company, Inc. dated January 22, 1969.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for said vehicles as set out in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
