ORDINANCE NO. 68-8-106
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, OAKLAWN
CODES PROGRAM ACCOUNT FOR RECEIVING AND DISBURSING ALL FUNDS FOR THE
OAKLAWN CONCENTRATED CODE ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM AND GRANT FUNDS UNDER
SECTION 117 OF THE HOUSING ACT OF 1949, AND PRESCRIBING PROCEDURES AND
USES FOR THE SAID ACCOUNT, AND AUTHORIZING AN INITIAL APPROPRIATION
OF $5,000.00 TO SAID ACCOUNT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he hereby is,
authorized and directed to establish a City of Paducah, Kentucky
Oaklawn Codes Program account at the Citizens Bank and Trust Company
in Paducah, Kentucky, for the purpose of receiving and disbursing
all funds for the Oaklawn Concentrated Code Enforcement Program as
may be received from local appropriations or grant funds from the
United States Government under Section 117 of the Housing Act of 1949.
SECTION 2. That funds in said account be disbursed on the
signatures of two authorized individuals, and that the initial authorized
signatures be those of R. H. Overstreet and Nettie E. Walls, and as
hereafter changed by motion of this Board without resort to amendment
of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. That all receipts and disbursements be strictly
accounted for and that no disbursement be made that is contrary to law
or specific purposes authorized under the Oaklawn Concentrated Code
Enforcement Program Pfoject-No. Ky. E-1.
SECTION 4. That the City Treasurer be, and he hereby is,
authorized and directed to appropriate from the General Fund of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, the sum of $5,000.00 to the City of Paducah
Oaklawn Codes Program Account.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
