A RESOLUTION MAKING THE CITY CLERK CUSTODIAN OF ALL VOLUMES
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
AUTHORIZING THE DISTRIBUTION OF SAME, AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT
AND SALE OF A.LIMITED NUMBER OF SAID CODE, AND FIXING THE PRICE FOR
THE SALE OF THE CODE, CODE BOOKLETS AND SUPPLEMENTS
WHEREAS the ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, have
been codified, and
WHEREAS the City has purchased and received one hundred volumes
of said Code of Ordinances of which fifty volumes are bound in loose-
leaf post type covers, one hundred copies of chapters pertaining to
building and zoning regulations, one hundred copies of chapters
pertaining to business regulations and one hundred copies of chapters
pertaining to crime and traffic offenses, and
WHEREAS it is the intention of the City of Paducah to:periodically
supplement the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah to keep the
code current.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Clerk be the custodian of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and she is hereby directed
to keep a record of the distribution and sales of said Code and Booklets
and to account for all moneys received for such sales by obtaining and
keeping a receipt for all funds delivered to the Finance Office for
collections from sales.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
make the following distributions of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Paducah and Code Booklets without charge.
A. One copy each of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah
Kentucky shall be distributed as follows:
File of the City Clerk, Corporation Counsel, City Manager,
Office of the Judge of the Police Court, Assistant Corporation
Counsel, Mayor, each Commissioner, Finance Office, Police
Department, Office of the County Judge, Office of the Circuit
Judge - Divisions One and Two, Paducah Area Public Library,
Paducah Junior College Library, and the County Law Library.

B. The Booklet containing Chapters 7, 16, 24, 30 and Appendix A
and Appendix B of the Code of Ordinances shall be distributed
as follows:
Three copies to the Planning Office, three copies to the
Building Inspector's Office, three copies to the Fire Department
and seven copies or one copy each to the Planning Commissioners.
C. The Booklet containing'Chapters 3, 5, 14, 17, 23 and 31 of
the Code of Ordinances shall be distributed as follows:
Two copies to the License Inspector, four copies to the Finance
Office and one copy to the Alcoholic Beverage Administrator.
D. Fifty copies of the Booklet containing Chapters 4, 19, 20 and
21 shall be distributed to the Police Department.
E. Additional Booklets shall be distributed as directed in writing
by the City Manager.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to advertise
and sell to interested businesses, organizations and individuals the
following number of volumes at the following prices:

The advertising required by this section shall be by public notice
printed one time in the Paducah Sun -Democrat, and as shall be accomplished
at the discretion of the City Clerk.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
