ORDINANCE NO. 68-2-13
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
JACKSON STREET BETWEEN 27TH AND 28TH STREETS, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH
_0 ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF -COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
Commission on February 7, 1968 entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING
THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED
REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF JACKSON STREET BETWEEN
27TH AND 28TH STREETS", be approved as the final report of said
Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amend-
ment proposed in said resolution be, and the same hereby is, declared
to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property
be, and it is hereby, changed from R-2 One -Family Residential Zone to
B-1 Neighborhood Business Zone:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of
Jackson Street and 27th Street; thence north with the
center line of 27th Street 206.25 feet to the center
line of an alley (extended); thence west along the
center line of said alley 280 feet; thence south, parallel
with 27th Street, 206.25 feet to the center line of Jackson
Street; thence east along the center line of Jackson Street
280 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1961 and the Maps
referred to in Section 14 thereof, be, and they are hereby, amended to
the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
changes provided for in Section 3 hereof.
fSECTION 5. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid
for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph
or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make
each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from
all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.

SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
