AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
OF SAID PROPERTY TO BE INCLUDED WITHIN SAID CORPORATE LIMITS
under an ordinance adopted October 24, 1967, the City
of Paducah, Kentucky, by and through its Board of Commissioners
proposed to extend the boundary of the City by annexing certain
which property is hereinafter more particularly described, and
said ordinance proposing such annexation and declaring
the desirability and necessity of same has been published in the Sun
a newspaper published and distributed in the City of Paducah,
as provided and required by Section 424.130 of Kentucky

to the west corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
Beginning at an iron pipe located on the
Northerly right-of-way line of the Blandville
Road (U. S. Highway 62), said iron pipe being
314.4 feet east of the southeastern corner of
land owned by Rector and Rhear and fronting on
said Blandville Road, said Southeast corner being
common corner of the land of Rector and Rhear
and land of David M. Barkley; thence with the
Northerly right-of-way line of the Blandville
Road N. 650 30' East 608.6 feet to a stone
marker and the westerly property line of Roscoe
Richards; thence with the westerly property
line of Roscoe Richards N 290 05' West 638.0
feet to a stone marker; thence S 600 25' W 588.8
feet to a stone marker; thence S 270 20' E 584.5
feet to a stone marker and the point of beginn-
ing and containing 8.53 acres more or less, said
property being shown on Plat of Survey prepared
by Hollis & Griggs, Inc. attached hereto and
being a part of the same property conveyed to
David M. Barkley by Alben W. Barkley, a single
person, by deed dated November 4, 1949, and
recorded in Deed Book 325, page 522, in the
office of the County Court Clerk, McCracken
County, Kentucky.

SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
