AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF
HUSBANDS ROAD, SOUTH OF BRIDGE STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING
ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
\ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
Commission on October 18, 1967, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING
THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED
REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF HUSBANDS ROAD, SOUTH OF
BRIDGE STREET", be approved as the final report of said Commission
respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map aspendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same hereby is, declared to
be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property
be, and it is hereby, changed from B-3 General Business Zone to R-3
Two-family Residential Zone:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of
Husbands Road with the north line of the I.C.R.R. right-of-way;
thence in an easterly direction along and with the north line
of the I.C.R.R. right-of-way a distance of 177 feet, more or less,
to a point in the center line of a 20 foot alley; thence in a
northerly direction along and with the center line of said 20
foot alley a distance of 277 feet, more or less; thence in a
westerly direction a distance of 167 feet, more or less, to a
point in the center line of Husbands Road; thence in a southerly
direction along and with the center line of Husbands Road to the
point of beginnings'
SECTION 4. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1961 and the Maps
referred to in Section 14 thereof, be, and they are hereby, amended to
the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
changes provided for in Section 3 hereof.
SECTION 5. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid
for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph
or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make
each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from

all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 6. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
