AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE WEST SIDE OF
HUSBANDS ROAD, SOUTH OF BRIDGE STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING
ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
Commission on October 18, 1967, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING
THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED
REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE WEST SIDE OF HUSBANDS ROAD, SOUTH OF
BRIDGE STREET", be adopted as the final report of said Commission
respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same hereby is, declared to
be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property
be, and it is hereby, changed from B-4 Commercial Zone to R-3 Two -Family
Residential Zone:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of
Husbands Road with the north line of the I.C.R.R. right-of-way;
thence in a westerly direction along and with the said right-
of-way to the point of intersection of said right-of-way line
with the east line of Cecil Cunningham and J. G. Allen; thence
in a northerly direction along and with the east line of Cecil
Cunningham and J. C. Allen and the west line of Jackie and Dona
Payton a distance of 130.83 feet to a point common corner between
Peyton and St. Mark's Methodist Church; thence in a northerly
direction along and with the west line of St. Mark's Methodist
Church a distance of 190 feet to a point, same being the northwest
corner of the St. Mark's Methodist Church; thence in an easterly
direction along and with the north line of St. Mark's Methodist
Church a distance of 393.5 feet, more or less, to the center line
of Husbands Road; thence in a southerly direction and with the
center line of Husbands Road to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1961 and the Maps
referred to in Section 14 thereof, be, and they are hereby, amended to
the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
changes provided for in Section 3 hereof.
SECTION 5. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid
for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph
or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make
each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from
all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.

SECTION 6. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
