HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 233, No Ordinance Number233 I" LA AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 9 OF THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961, AND AMENDING SAID SECTION BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on July 19, 1967, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF SECTION 9 OF THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961", shall be, and it is hereby, approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That Section 9 of the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1961 (Ordinance Book 14, page 507) shall be, and it is hereby, amended by adding Subsection VII following subsection VI to Title II, Section 9, as follows: "VII Residential Buffer Whenever any lot line in a Business (B) or Industrial (M) Zone abuts a lot line in a Residential (R) Zone, there shall be provided by the owner or developer, upon development, in whole or in part, of said business or industrial lot, a tight screen planting eight (B) feet in height and three (3) feet in width along the lot line where said lot abuts the Residential (R) Zone, or equivalent buffer screen, subject to the approval of the Commission." SECTION 3. That if any section,paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 4.
