AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO PAY
MRS. CORA CARNEAL, A WIDOW, JESSE M. CARNEAL AND WIFE, JUNE CARNEAL,
ELIZABETH HOOK AND HUSBAND, HALEY HOOK, RUBYE ANDERSON AND HUSBAND,
LOUIS ANDERSON, THE SUM OF $4,300.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF A PERMANENT
AND TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT FOR A SEWER LINE ACROSS THEIR
PROPERTY LOCATED ON BROADWAY BETWEEN 11TH AND 12TH STREETS IN PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to pay to Mrs. Cora Carneal, a widow, Jesse M. Carneal and
wife, June Carneal, Elizabeth Hook and husband, Haley Hook, Rubye
Anderson and husband, Louis Anderson, the sum of $4,300.00 for the
purchase of a permanent and temporary construction easement for a sewer
line across their property located on Broadway between 11th and 12th
Streets, which permanent and temporary.easements are described as
follows:
PERMANENT EASEMENT
A strip of ground 20 feet in width along the
west side of Lot 20, Block 10, Enders Addition
recorded in Deed Book "L", page 97, McCracken_
County Court Clerk's office. Said strip fronts
20 feet on the north side of Broadway between
11th and I2th Streets, and extends back 160 feet
to a 26.5 foot alley.
TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT
A strip of ground 20 feet in width and 160 feet
in length lying east of and adjacent to the above
described permanent easement, also a rectangular
tract 10 feet x 15 feet in size lying adjacent
to the south side of a 26.5 foot alley extending
from the east line of the above described con-
struction easement a distance of 10 feet to the
east line of Lot 20.
For source of title to all land mentioned
herein see Deed Book 254, page 520 in the
McCracken County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it
shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and
effect ten (10) days thereafter.
