AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND ADJUSTING THE RATES OF PAY FOR CERTAIN
NON -CIVIL SERVICE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH", WHICH WAS
ADOPTED ON MARCH 16, 1957 AND RECORDED IN ORDINANCE BOOK 13, PAGE
691, AND AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME, THE LAST AMENDMENT BEING ON
JANUARY 10, 1967 AND RECORDED IN ORDINANCE BOOK 16, PAGE 13
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the
title quoted above, which was adopted on March 16, 1957
and recorded
in Ordinance Book 13, page 691, and amended from time
to time, the
last amendment being on january 10, 1967, be, and the
same is hereby
further amended and reordained so that said section
as amended and
reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the monthly or hourly rate of
compensation
of the following non -civil service employees of the City
of Paducah
shall be the amount set opposite the designation of such
employment,
to -wit:

Base Hourly Rate
Part-time Inspector in Inspection Department $1.85
The Housing Code Enforcement Officer shall be paid at the rate of
$395.00 per month for the first six months of employment, at the
expiration of six months $405.00 per month, and at the expiration of
one year $415.00 per month, such increases to be made upon recommendation
of the City Manager.
The Meter Maintenance Man shall be paid at the rate of $2.18 per
hour for the first six months of employment and at the expiration of six
months the rate of pay shall be $2.23 per hour, such increase to be
made upon recommendation of the City Manager.
The No. 2 Maintenance Man shall be paid at the rate of $2.08 per
hour for the first six months of employment and at the expiration of
six months the rate os pay SLLall be $2.13 per hour, such increases to
be made upon recommendation of the City Manager.
The Maintenance Helper shall be paid at the rate of $1.98 per hour
for the first six months of employment and at the expiration of six
months the rate of pay shall be $2.03 per hour, such increase to be made
upon recommendation of the City Manager".
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
