ORDINANCE NO. 69-11-258
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-A OF THE "APPOINTIVE EMPLOYEES'
CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
ON DECEMBER 2, 1947 AND LAST AMENDED ON DECEMBER 27, 1968
BE IT ORDAINED BY.THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 7-A of the "Appointive Employees'
Civil Service Ordinance", which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on December 2, 1947, and last amended on December 27, 1968, be further
amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained
shall read as follows:
"SECTION 7-A. There is hereby created and authorized the following
—77Z,V_ 7,1 positions in the office of the City Assessor, which office was formerly
in the Department of Finance, and the salary of each position, provided
r the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment
ordinance hereafter adopted, shall be as follows:
Position Base Monthly Salary
City Assessor, Head of Department $620.00
Evaluation Clerk 380.00
Clerk -typist (2 positions) 285.00
The Evaluation Clerk shall be paid at the rate of $380.00 per
month for the first six months; at the expiration of six months $390.00
per month; at the expiration of one year $400.00 per month; at the
expiration of two years $410.00 per month; and at the expiration of
three years $420.00 per month; such increases to be made upon recommend-
ation of the City Manager.
The Clerk -typist shall be paid at the rate of $285.00 per month
for the first six months of employment; at the expiration of six months
$295.00 per month; at the expiration of one year $305.00 per month; at
the expiration of two years $315.00 per month; and at the expiration
of three years $325.00 per month; such increases to be made upon
recommendation of the City Manager."
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption, and shall be retroactive to November 1,
1969.
