AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF
SHELBOURNE STREET, SOUTH OF BELL AVENUE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING
ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
Commission on July 3, 1968 entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE
FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING
OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF SHELBOURNE STREET, SOUTH OF BELL AVENUE",
be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters
therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map
amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same hereby is,
declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City
of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property
be, and it is hereby, changed from M-3 Heavy Industrial Zone to R-3
Two -Family Residential Zone:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Shelbourne Street
150 feet south of the point of intersection of the south line
of Bell Avenue with the center line of Shelbourne Street; thence
in a southerly direction along and with the center line of Shelbourne
Street a distance of 229.24 feet to a point; thence in an easterly
direction a distance of 125 feet to a point, the southeast corner of
the property of Oval Reed; thence in a northerly direction along
and with the east line of Oval Reed a distance of 229.24 feet to a
point in the northeast corner of Oval Reed; thence in an easterly
direction along and with the north line of Oval Reed a distance of
125 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid
for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph
or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make
each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from'
all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.

SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
