ORDINANCE NO. 69-7-232
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF
JONES STREET BETWEEN 10TH AND 11TH STREETS, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH
ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMM:'SSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
Commission on July 16, 1969, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE
FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING
OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF JONES STREET BETWEEN 10TH AND 11TH
STREETS", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting
the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map
amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby
declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of
Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property
be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 Two -Family Residential Zone to
M-1 General Industrial Zone:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of
Jones Street with the center line of 11th Street; thence in
a southerly direction along and with the center line of 11th
Street a distance of 190 feet; thence at right angles and in an
easterly direction along and with the line presently dividing
the M-1 zone from the R-3 zone, a distance of 190 feet; thence
at right angles and in a northerly direction, along and with
another line dividing the present M-1 zone from the present
R-3 zone a distance of 190 feet to a point in the center line
of Jones Street; thence at right angles along and with the
center line of Jones Street in a westerly direction a distance
of 190 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or i4valid for
any cause the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or
provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each
and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all
other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption. q /�
