AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF JOHN C. MCVOY, JR, AND WIFE,
CONSTANCE S. McVOY, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN
LOT 17, BLOCK 12, ROWLAND PLACE ADDITION THEREIN, FOR THE SUM OF $350.00,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of John C. McVoy, Jr. and wife,
Constance S. McVoy, in the amount of $350.00 to purchase the interest
of the City of Paducah in certain property therein', be accepted, said
property being described as follows:
Lot 17, Block 12, Rowland Place Addition,
plat of same in Deed Book 40, page 366 in
the McCracken County Court Clerk's office,
fronting 50 feet on the east side of Reed
Avenue.
Being the same property conveyed to the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, by City Treasurer's Tax Sale
Deed dated August 1, 1968, of record in Deed
Book 500, page 203, McCracken County Court
Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. On payment of the sum of $350.00 to the City
Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to convey to John C. McVoy, Jr. and wife, Constance S. McVoy, in survivor-
ship, all right, title and interest of the City in the property described
in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only,
shall contain no warranty as to title, and shall be subject to any state
of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
