FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF CONCRETE PIPE AND ACCESSORIES FOR USE BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT IN CONSTRUCTING A SEWER IN THE VICINITY OF REED AND RUDY AVENUE IN PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS ;\f� AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Paducah Brick and Supply Company, Inc., which bid was submitted in words and figures as follows: "We propose to furnish the following described materials for the above work in accordance with the Standard Specifications mentioned herein: 1404 ft. 18" RCP, Class 3 rubber gasket $3.90 per ft 1165 ft. 15" RCP, Class 3 rubber gasket 2.90 " 1 pc. 18" RCP w/15" Y 58.50 each 3 pcs. 15" RCP w/15" Y 43.50 each 4 pcs. 15" stoppers 3.50 each Plus 5% Sale Tax Less 2% cash discount 10th. prox. Said bid having the specifications set out in the resolution adopted on May 27, 1969, by the Board of Commissioners of the City authorizing advertisement for bids for such material, and contained in the bid of Paducah Brick and Supply Company, Inc. dated June 12, 1969. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for said concrete pipe and accessories as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
