ORDINANCE NO. 69-6-218
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF HARRY BERRY, INC. FOR THE
SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) USED PAVER FOR USE IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT,
AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL
BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of Harry Berry, Inc. in the sum of $9,500.00 for the sale to the City
of one (1) used asphalt paver, having substantially the specifications
as set out in the resolution adopted on May 6, 1969, by the Board of
Commissioners of the City authorizing advertisement for bids for
such equipment, and contained in the bid of Harry Berry, Inc. dated
May 12, 1969.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for said street paver as set out in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
