ORDINANCE NO. 69-6-214
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AN ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN SOUTH BELTLINE
HIGHWAY AND BOUGH (OLIVE) STREET, NOW CLOSED, WHICH ALLEY IS WITHIN
THE BLOCK BOUNDED ALSO BY CHAMBLIN STREET (UNDEVELOPED) AND MURRAY
AVENUE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby
authorize the closing of an alley in the City of Paducah, described
as follows:
All that portion of a 15 foot alley lying and
running between South Beltline Highway and Bough
(Olive) Street, now closed, which alley lies
within the block bounded also by Chamblin Street
(undeveloped) and Murray Avenue.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered
to institute and prosecute, pursuant to Section 94.360 of the
Kentucky Revised Statutes an action in the McCracken Circuit Court
for a judgment ordering the closing of said alley as described in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
