AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JAiriES H. MOORE FOR THE
PURCHASE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY O[•,m?ED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
AND LYIGN BETWEEN MCGUIRE AVENUE AND CRUSE AVENUE, AND ABUTTING ON
A 1G -FOOT ALLEY -NEAR ITS INTERSECTION WITH MASON AVENUE, IN THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A DEED OF CONVEYANCE THERETO
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid
and offer of James H. Moore in the amount of $1,$70.00 for the purchase
of the following property owned by the City of Paducah, Kentucky
and situated therein as follows:
Beginning at a point, a stake, in the ease side line
of Block No. 50, 100.L6 feet south of the northeast
corner of Block No. 50 and corner to R. H. McGuire;
thence south u. deg. 1 min. east with the east line
of Block No. 50, 113.05 feet to a stake; thence
south 86 dee. 31 min, west 192.7 feet; thence north
1, deg. west 113.05 feet to a stake; thence north 86
deg. 34 min. east 192.7 feet to the beginning corner,
containing S/10 of an acre.
Being the same property conveyed to the City of Paducah,
Kentucky by Emmett Lee Albright etal, by Sam King,
Master Commissioner, by deed dated Decemher 5, 1944,
and recorded in Commissioner's Deed Book 12, page 203
in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office, Paducah,
Kentucky.
SECTION 2. Upon payment of the aforesaid sum of $1,870.00
to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute, on behalf of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, a deed
conveying said property to said purchaser with no warranty as to
title and subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an
accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
