AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-
Mc CRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF
PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF PARK AVENUE, WEST OF THE FLOODIVIALL,
AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH
REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah -McCracken
County Planning Commission on May 18, 1966, entitled: "A RESOLUTION
CONSTITUTING'THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING
C0181ISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
PARK AVENUE WEST OF THE FLOODWALL", be approved as the final report
of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the properties
described below shall be, and they are hereby, changed from a B-3
General Business Zone to the zone classifications specified:
TO B-1 NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS ZONE
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of
Park Avenue (Hinkleville Road) and the west line of the
Paducah Floodwall richt-of-way, extended; thence west
along the center line of Park Avenue 765 feet more or less;
thence north with the west line of the property of Park
Avenue Golf Ranee, Inc. 313 feet; thence east, parallel
with the center line of Park Avenue $$5 feet, more or less,
to the west line of the Paducah Floodwall right-of-way;
thence south with the said west line of the Paducah Floodwall
right-of-way to the beginning.
TO R-4 MULTIPLE DWELLING ZONE
Beginning at a point in the west line of the property of
Park Avenue Golf Range, Inc. saidoint being 313 feet north
of the center line of Park Avenue (Hinkleville Road); thence
north along the said property line 1,411.25 feet; thence
southeast, at an interior angle of 61 degrees 7 minutes 16
seconds, 1,335.66 feet to the west line of the Faducah Floodwall
richt-of-wav; thence south, along the said west line of the
said right-of-wav 810 feet, more or less, to a point which is
313 feet north of and at right angles to the center line of
Park Avenue; thence west, along a line 313 feet north of and
parallel to the center line of Park Avenue $$5 feet, more or
less to the beginning.
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1961 and the Maps
referred to in Section 14 thereof shall be, and they are hereby,
amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and
designate the changes provided for in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION A. That if any section, paragraph or provision of
this ordinance shall be found to he inoperative, ineffective or invalid
for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph
or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each
and every section,paragraph and provision hereof separable from all
other sections, paragraphs and provisions.

SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall he in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
