ELECTRONICS, INC. FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF CERTAIN
WALKIE-TALKIE RADIO EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A PURCHASE CONTRACT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the bid of Motorola Communications and Elec-
tronics, Inc. for the sale to the City of Paducah, Kentucky of the
following radio equipment be accepted, such equipment and prices
therefor as follows:
TWO (2) MOTOROLA Model H23DEN-1100SP "HANDIE-TALKIE
FM Portable belt type radio units, completely
transistorized, collapsible antenna, black
carrying case & carrying case cover, equipped
with nickel -cadmium re-chargable battery.
Units complete at cost of .. ......... .......$747.50 each.
One (1) MOTOROLA Model SP 1020 MNAA High Q
decoder.at cost installed .of ................... 106.00
2 NLN 6238A Nickel -Cadmium battery 14.4 volts ........... 48.00 each
2 NLN 6259A Single Unit universal battery
charger, charges the nickel -
cadmium battery within one unit
or one individual battery outside
of its unit ... ...... ..... ................ 37.00 each
making the total cost t6 the City of $1,771.00, plus the 3% Kentucky
Use Tax.
All of the above equipment to be as specified in the bid of said
Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc. dated March 14, 1966, and
delivery to be approximately sixty '(60) days from the execution of the
purchase contract.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, directed
and authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of the equipment
as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in
which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in
full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
