AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-MCCRACK.EN
COUNTY PLANNING COT,1MISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY IN THE
LITTLEVILLE AREA, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS
TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah -McCracken
County Planning Commission on March 2, 1966, entitled "A RESOLUTION
CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING
COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY IN THE LITTLEVILLE AREA",
be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the
matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following_ property
be, and it is hereby, changed .from M-3 Heavy Industrial Zone to R-4
Multiple Family Zone:
Beginning at the intersection of the City of Paducah boundary
with the Pool Road near its intersection with Bechtdolt Road;
thence west with the present city boundary to the east line of
the Illinois Central Railroad right -o£ -way; thence north with
said line of said right-of-way to a point 700.75 feet north of
the north line of Ficklin Avenue; thence east, along the line
dividing the properties of Mary Andrecht Estate and Paducah Realty
Development Corporation, and that line extended, to the center
line of Shelby Street; thence north with the center line of Shelby
Street to the center line of Hawaii Street; thence east with the
center line of Hawaii Street to the center line of a 20 foot
alley, between Shelby and Alexander Streets; thence north with
the center line of said alley 1,$70.25 feet, more or less, to the
south line of the property of Wade E. Davis; thence east with
the said line of Davis to the center line of Bloom Avenue; thence
north with the center line of Bloom Avenue to the center line of
Fulton Street; thence east with the center line of Fulton Street
to the center line of Little Avenue; thence north with the center
line of Little Avenue 251 feet; thence west, parallel with Fulton
Street, 198.25 feet to the center line of an alley; thence north
with the center line of said alley 29.15 feet; thence west, parallel
with Fulton Street, to the center line of Bloom Avenue; thence
north with the center line of Bloom Avenue to the center line of
State Street; thence east with the center line of State Street
to the southwest line of the Illinois Central Railroad right-of-way;
thence southeast and south with said line of said richt-of-way
and with the west line of the right-of-way of the N. C & St. L.
Railroad to the City Boundary at Virgie Street; thence west and
south with said City Boundary and its meanders to the point of
beeinning.
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1961 and the Maps
referred to in Section 14 thereof, be, and they are hereby, amended to
the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
change provided for in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid
for any cause, ghe deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph
or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it heinp the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make
each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from
