AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND ADJUSTING THE RATES OF PAY FOR CERTAIN
NON -CIVIL SERVICE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH", WHICH WAS
ADOPTED ON MARCH 16, 1957 AND AMENDED ON NOVEMBER 9, 1965
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the
title quoted above, which was adopted on March 16, 1957, and amended
on November 9, 1965, be, and the same is hereby amended and reordained
so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the monthly or hourly rate
of compensation
of the following non -civil service employees of the
City of Paducah
shall be the amount set opposite the designation of
such employment,
to -wit:

Temporary Laborers in Cemetery Department $1.50
The Clerk Typist in the Engineering Office and Assessor's
Office shall be paid at the rate of $210.00 per month for the first
six months; at the expiration of six months $220.00; at the
expiration of another six months $230.00 and at the expiration of
another six months $240.00, such increases to be made upon the
recommendation of the City Manager."

SECTION 2, All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
