AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF OHIO VALLEY SUPPLY COMPANY
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF VITRIFIED CLAY PIPE AND FITTINGS FOR
SEINER CONSTRUCTION USE; PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON
WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Ohio
Valley Supply Company in the approximate amount of $2,601.86, plus
Kentuckv Sales Tax, for the sale to the City of the following
estimated quantities of nitrified clay pipe and fittings at the
following specified unit prices:

15 LF 10" Vitrified Clay Pipe (3' lgths.) with
Type 2 Can -O -Lok Joints 1.53 ft.
670 LF 8" Vitrified Clay Pipe (5' lgths.) with
Type 2 Can -O -Lok Joints .98 ft.
30 LF 8" Vitrified Clav Pipe (3' lgths.) with
Type 2 Gan -O -Lok Joints .9£I ft.
272 LF 6" Vitrified Clay Pipe (L' lgths.) with
Tvpe 2 Can -O -Lok Joints .66 ft.
1P LF 6" Vitrified Clay Pipe (3' lgths.) with

18 PCs. 10 x 6 Wves with Type 2 Can -O -Lok Joints 7.65 ea.

All of said pipe and fittings to have the specifications as
contained in the Resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
said City on May 24, 1965 authorizing the advertising for bids and as
contained in the bid of said Ohio Valley Supply Company received by
the City on June 14, 1965. Said pipe and fittings are to be delivered
f.o.b. to any Joh site in the City in truck lots as requested by the City.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of the supplies as set out in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at
least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it
shall be put upon its final passage, but in beinrr necessary for the public
health and safety, an emergency is herebv declared to exist and this ordinance
shall he in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
