AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON
THE SOUTH SIDE OF WASHINGTON STREET BETWEEN 4TH STREET AND
5TH STREET; THE WEST SIDE OF IFTH STREET BETWEEN WASHINGTON
STREET AND CLARK STREET, AND THE NORTH SIDE OF CLARK STREET
BETWEEN 4TH STREET AND 5TH STREET; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR
VIOLATION AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm,
company or corporation to park or leave standing a vehicle of
any kind on the south side of Washington Street between 4th
Street and 5th Street; the west side of 4th Street between
Washington Street and Clark Street, and the north side of Clark
Street between 4th Street and 5th Street for a longer period
than thirty (30) minutes between the hours of $ o'clock A.M.
and 5 o'clock P.M. on any day except Sunday.
SECTION 2. Any person, firm, company or corporation
violating the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction,
be fined -not less than $5.00 nor more than $25.00 for each offense.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION L. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect on and after March 10, 1965.
