HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 307, No Ordinance Number3 07 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COWISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BELTLINE HIGHWAY BETWEEN MAGGIE STREET AND THE CITY . LIMITS, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1.. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah -McCracken County Planning Commission on May 6, 1964, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COT,24ISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF THE PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BELTLINE HIGH -WAY BETWEEN MAGGIE STREET AND THE CITY LIMITS", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-2 One Family Zoneand R -L Multiple Dwelling Zone to B-3 General Business Zone: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Maggie Street and the center line of the Beltline Highway; thence south with the center line of Maggie Street to a point 360 feet north of the north property line of Johnson Street; thence east 175 feet to the center line of an existing 16 foot alley; thence south with the center line of said alley 120 feet; thence east and parallel with Johnson Street 170 feet to the center line of Locust Drive; thence north with the center line of Locust Drive 55 feet more or less to the south property line extended of the property of Aline Grainger; thence eastward with the south property line of the Grainger property 672 feet to the back property lines of the lots fronting Koerner Street, which point is 170 feet west of the center line of Koerner Street; thence northward 10 feet more or less; thence eastward with the south property line of the property of E. C. Collie 170 feet to the center line of Koerner Street; thence northward 55 feet more or less to a point 298.25 feet from the south property line of the Beltline Highway; thence eastward 169 feet to the center line of a 10 foot alley; thence northward with the center line of the 10 foot alley 6.7 feet to the south property line extended of Mrs. Ludie Long; thence east with the south line of the Long property 160.5 feet to the center line of Leiberman Street; thence south with the center line of Leiberman Street 2.2 feet to a point, the south property line extended of the property of Leilah Mocquot, deceased; thence east with the south line of the Mocquot property 163 feet to the center line of a 15 foot alley; thence south with the center line of said alley 4.7 feet to a point between Lots 6 and 7 of Block 6 extended; thence continuing eastward 664.L: feet to a point on the east city limit line which point is 296.25 feet south of the south property line of the Beltline Highway; thence north with the city limit line 164 feet; thence eastwardly with the existing city limit line 535.3 feet more or less; thence northwardly with the city limit line 183.44 feet more or less to the center line of the Beltline Highway; thence westward with the center line of the Beltline Highway to the point of intersection of the center line of the Beltline Highway and the center line of Maggie Street, being the point of beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1961 and the Maps referred to in Section 14 thereof, be, and they are hersby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. 308 SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
