AN ORDINANCE CLOSING PORTIONS OF CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS
IN AND ADJOINING CHAMBLIN, MURRAY AND BROWN ADDITION IN THE CITY OF
PADUCAHj KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby
authorize the closing of portions of certain streets and alleys in
and adjoining Chamblin, Murray and Brown Addition to Paducah, Kentucky,
described as follows:
1. That portion of Bough Street (formerly Olive Street)
extending from the south line of Brown Avenue to the
north line of the Beltline Highway.
2. That portion of Murray Avenue extending from the east
line of Bough Street 100 feet, more or less, to the
east line of Chamblin, Murray and Brown Addition.
3. That portion of Chamblin Avenue extending from the east
line of Bough Street 400 feet, more or less, to the
east line of Chamblin, Murray and Brown Addition.
4. That portion of Hymarsh Avenue extending from the east
line of Bough Street 400 feet, more or less, to the
east line of Chamblin, Murray and Brown Addition,
except that portion of same now in the Beltline Highway
right-of-way.
5. The 15 foot alley in Block 3 of Chamblin, Murray and
Brown Addition extending from the east line of Bough
Street 1,00 feet, more or less, to the east line of
said addition.
6. The 15 foot alley in Block 2 of Chamblin, Murray and
Brown Addition extending from the east line of Bough
Street 400 feet, more or less, to the east line of
said addition.
7. That portion of the 15 foot alley in Block 1 of
Chamblin, Murray and Brown Addition extending from the
Beltline Highway to the east line of said addition.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to institute
and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken
Circuir Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the portions of
the streets and alleys described in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
