HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 129, No Ordinance Number129 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH- McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING CORDIIISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE ILLINOIS CENTRAL RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-I9AY (P & I RAILROAD) BETVIEEN PINES ROAD AND MINNICH AVENUE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CODSMSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1.. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah=McCracken County Planninm Commission on September 4, 1963 entitled "A RESOLUTION? CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-I.4cCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COMiISSION? ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE ILLINOIS CENTRAL RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY (P & I RAILROAD) BETWEEN PINES ROAD AND NIINNICH AVENUE", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from 1I-1 General Industrial Zone to R-3 Two Familv Residential Zone: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Pines Road and the easterly line of the Illinois Central Railroad right -of -:•lav (P &. I Railroad); thence in a northerly direction, alone- the boundary of the existing M-1 zone and its meanders to the north line'of Plinnich Avenue; thence in a westerly direction along the north line of Idinnich Avenue to the west line of the aforesaid right-of-way; thence in a southerly direction along the :rest line of said right-of-way to the cente(r line of Pines Road; thence in an easterly direction along the center line of Pines Road to the point of beginning. SECTION 3_ That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1961 and the Maps referred to in Section 14 thereof be, and they are hereby. amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the chan7e provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this Ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being; the purpose and intent of this Ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
