AND REGULATING THE LICENSE TAXES;,AND MANNER AND FORM OF GRANTING AND
ISSUING SANTE ON THE VARIOUS LINES OF BUSINESS, TRADES, OCCUPATIONS
PROFESSIONS, VOCATIONS AND CALLINGS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR NON-PAYMENT THEREOF, AND FOR VIOLATION
THEREOF, AND MAKING IT UNLAWFUL TO ENGAGE IN ANY SUCH LINES OF BUSINESS,
TRADES, OCCUPATIONS, PROFESSIONS, VOCATIONS AND CALLINGS WITHOUT FIRST
PAYING THE LICENSE TAX AND PROCURING LICENSES AS PROVIDED HEREIN;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH, AND PROVIDING A
SEPARABILITY CLAUSE", WHICH ORDINANCE WAS ADOPTED ON DECEMBER 23, 1947,
AND IS RECORDED IN ORDINANCE BOOK 11, PAGE 282, AND ALL AMENDMENTS THERETO
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That an ordinance containing the title quoted above,
which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 23, 1947
and is recorded in Ordinance Book 11, page 282, and all amendments
thereto, be, and the same are hereby, repealed.
SECTION 2, Nothing in this ordinance shall be construed to
affect any tax liability by any person, firm or corporation to the
City of Paducah under the provisions of the ordinance referred to in
Section 1 above, or any penalty or interest now due, or hereafter
to accrue, under and by virtue of the terms thereof, nor shall it affect
any rights or remedies of the City of Paducah for the enforcement of
same under the terms thereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
December 31, 1966 at 12 o'clock mid -night.
