COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE
EAST SIDE OF 6TH STREET BETWEEN HARRISON STREET AND PARK AVENUE, AND
AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah -McCracken
County Planning Commission on August 7, 1963, entitled "A RESOLUTION
CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING
COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF 6TH
STREET BET1JEEN HARRISON STREET AND PARK AVENUE", be approved as the
final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property
be, and it is hereby, changed from R-4 Multiple Dwelling Zone to B,1
Neighborhood Business Zone:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of 6th
Street and Harrison Street; thence north with the center
line of 6th Street to the center line of Park Avenue; thence
east with the center line of Park Avenue 203.25 feet to the
center line of an alley, extended; thence south with the
center line of said alley and that lire extended 203.25
feet to the center line of Harrison Street; thence west with
the center line of Harrison Street to the beginning.
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1961 and the Maps
referred to in Section 14 thereof, be, and they are hereby, amended to
the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
change provided for in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of
this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or
invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section,
paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph
or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance
to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
