A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY I-_AHAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS
FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL SINAL CABLE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COi!.PQCSSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to advertise for bids for sale to the City of Paducah,
Kentucky of traffic control sir -nal cable having the following
specifications:
Approximately seven thousand (7,000) feet of AWG 1L
Faure, 5 conductor solid copper. To meet the following
specifications. IMSA 20-1956 with Jacket B or IMSA
19-1-1962.
Each bidder shall state the price of cable per foot F.O.B.
City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky. Each bidder shall state his
anticipated delivery date.
SECTION 2. The City Manager shall advertise for sealed bids
by postinm a notice at the City Hall door and by inserting notice of
the request for 14ds in the Sun -Democrat not less than seven days nor
more than twenty-one days before the opening of same. All bids shall
be sealed and no :-id shall he received after the hour fixed in the
notice for the openinr* of same. All bids received by the City Manager
up to the time fixed for the opening of same shall be filed with the
Board of Commissioners who may let a contract to the lowest and best
bidder and the Board of Commissioners shall reserve the right to
refect any and all hills and the City shall not become legally obligated
to pure'rase same until the adoption of an ordinance authorizing
the execution of a purchase contract.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall he in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
