CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY PLANNING UNIT, AS PROPOSED BY THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION, AND ADOPTING SUCH PLAN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
Commission on Novemi,er 2, 19((', entitled "A RESOLUTION RELATING TO
THE ADOPTION OF A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
PLANNING UNIT", be received, approved, filed and incorporated herein
by reference.
SECTION 2. That this Board join with said Faducah Planning
Commission in adopting, as the initial phase of the Comprehensive
Plan for the City of Paducah, Kentucky Planning Unit, the several elements
referred to in the said resolution of November 2, 1966, they being also
incorporated herein by reference, and being identified as follows:
A. Statement of r-oals, Objectives, Principles, Policies
and Standards (as incorporated in the General Plan -1961)
B. Land Use Plan (Future Land Use Plan -1961)
C. Transportation Plan (Major Street Plan -1961)
D. Community Facilities Plan (19(1)
SECTIO That this action shall he, and is, taken with
full cognizance of the necessity for revision and updating of said
Comprehensive Plan from time to time in the future, as the need arises
and is made evident, and as circumstances and developments Justify.
SECTION L. That if any section, paragraph or provision
of this ordinance shall he found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid
for any rause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or
provision shall not affect anv other section, paragraph or provision hereof,
it hein,E the purpose and intent of this Ordinance to make each and every
section, paragraph and provision hereof separal:le from all other sections,
paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
