KENTUCKY, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING ADJACENT TO THE PRESENT
CORPORATE LIB?ITS OF SAID CITY, AND DEFINING ACCURATELY THE BOUNDARY
OF SAID PROPERTY TO BE INCLUDED WITHIN SAID CORPORATE LIMITS
WHEREAS under an ordinance adopted June ll;-, 1966, the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, hv and through its Board of Commissioners, proposed
to extend.the boundary of the City by annexing certain property
adjacent to the present corporate limits of said city, which property
is hereinafter more particularly described, and .
WHEREAS said ordinance proposing such annexation and declaring
the desirability of same has been published in the Sun Democrat-, a
newspaper published and distributed in the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
as provided and required by KRS 424.130(1)0-), and
WHEREAS a period of more than thirty days has elapsed since the
enactment and publication of said ordinance, and
WHEREAS no petition or complaint has been filed in the McCracken
Circuit Court protesting such extension of the corporate limits.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That .the hereinafter described property lying adjacent
to the present corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be
annexed to said City, the same being more particularly described as
follows:
Bepinning at the southwest corner of the intersection of
the Lone Oak Road and Hiphland Boulevard, said point beinc-
the present city limits line; thence south 36 degrees 14
minutes 28 seconds east along the west property line of
Highland Boulevard and the present city limits 270.22 feet;
thence south of degrees L0 minutes 48 seconds east continuing
along the west property line of Highland Boulevard 251.8 feet
with the present city limits to a point in the south west
corner of a lot owned by Krimpl.e; thence north 40 decrees
33 minutes 12 seconds west along Krimple's west line 63.96
feet, corner to Shelton; thence south 50 degrees 17 minutes
48 seconds west alone the present city limits with Shelton's
south line 157 feet to a point, Shelton's southwest corner;
thence north 39 decrees L8 minutes 59 seconds west along the
present city limits with Shelton's west line 106.42 feet to
the back line of The Hilltop Subdivision, recorded in Plat
Book "F", page 34; thence along the back line of The Hilltop
Subdivision south L.9 degrees 29 minutes L6 seconds west 42;9.1
feet with the present city limits to a point in Smith's east
line; thence south 35 degrees 17 minutes 04 seconds east
with Smith's east line 204.7L feet and with the present city
limits to a point in Smith's southeast corner; thence north
49 degrees 54 minutes 30 seconds east along the present city
limits and the south line of the Smith property 814.09 feet
to a point in Smith's southwest corner; thence north 35 degrees
8 minutes west with the present city limits and along the
west property line of Smith's property 506 feet to the present
coty limits on the south property line of the Lone Oak Road;
thence north 49 degrees 47 minutes 4.0 seconds east along
the south property line of the Lone Oak Road and with the
present city limits 1620 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning at Highland Boulevard.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
