MANUFACTURING COMPANY, AN ILLINOIS CORPORATION, OVER CERTAIN LAND
ON MEYERS STREET 0VINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY, AN INSTRUMENT
GRANTING SUCH EASEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COI'MISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. An easement is hereby granted to Marquette Cement
Manufacturing Company, an Illinois Corporation, over the hereinafter
described land on I+:eyers Street in the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
owned by said City:
Beginning at a point in the line dividing the property
of the Marquette Cement I,:anufacturing Company and the City
of Paducah, said point being 24.5 feet northeast of the
center line of a 33 foot street known as Meyers Street and
110.0 feet southeast of the southeast property line of
Clements Street (if extended) as measured along a line
parallel with Meyers Street; thence in a northeasterly
direction along the said dividing line a distance of 31
feet; thence at an interior angle of 82 degrees 06 minutes,
in a southeasterly direction a distance of 141.85 feet to a
point, said point being 36 feet from the center line of
Meyers Street as measured at right angles thereto; thence
at an interior angle of 187 degrees 54 minutes, continuing
in a southeasterly direction, 36 feet from and parallel with
the center line of Dfeyers Street a distance of 66.0 feet;
thence at right angles in a southwesterly direction a distance
of 11.5 feet to a point, said point being in the line dividing
the property of the City of Paducah and the Illinois Central
Railroad Company and being 24.5 feet from the center line of
Meyers Street as measured at right angles thereto; thence at
right angles in a northwesterly direction parallel to the
center line of Meyers Street and along the line dividing the
property of the City of Paducah and the Illinois Central
Railroad Company a distance of 206.5 feet to the point of
beginning.
This is an enlargement and correction of previous easement
from City of Paducah to Marquette Cement Manufacturing Company
which is included in instrument recorded in Deed Book 435, page 1$.
The easement granted herein is perpetual, and is for the con-
struction, maintenance and operation of a railroad spur track.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute, on behalf of the City of Paducah, an Easement to I''<iarquette Cement
Manufacturing Company over the land of the City described in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
