AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EMPLOY ATTORNEYS TO
INSTITUTE AND PROSECUTE SUITS FOR THE COLLECTION OF DELINQUENT
AD VALOREM REAL ESTATE TAXES, AND PROVIDING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF SUCH EMPLOYMENT", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
ON JANUARY 31, 1961
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of an ordinance having the title
quoted above, which was adopted by the board of commissioners on
January 31, 1961, be, and the same is hereby, amended and reordained
so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 2. The fee to be paid to said attorneys by the City
shall be the following:
(a) One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars per case involving one parcel S�
of real estate, or more than one parcel having the same
source of title to the owner or owners of the property
involved.
(b) An additional fee of twenty-five ($25.00) dollars for
the first additional parcel having a different laource
of title, and an additional fee of fifteen ($15.00)
dollars for each additional parcel thereafter having
still a different source of title.
Such fees shall be paid after the case has been completely
closed either by the distribution and payment of the taxes or proceeds
of the sale or by the delivering of a deed to the Cuty when real
estate is purchased by it."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
