AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KING-WOODALL MOTORS, INC.
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW 1963 FORD PICK-UP TRUCK FOR
USE BY THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY, AND PRESCRIBING THE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the
bid:of King -Woodall Motors, Inc. in the sum of $2,248.00, less $394.79
for trade-in of one (1) 1954 G.M.C. Canopy Express one-half ton truck,
making a total delivery cost of $1,$53.21 for the sale to the City
of one (1) new 1963 Ford F-100 Styleside Pick-up truck having the
specifications as set forth in the bid submitted by King -Woodall Motors,
Inc. under date of October 29, 1962.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said motor vehicle as
set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
