A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO THE ELECTRIC PLANT BOARD
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY TO CROSS VARIOUS PUBLIC WAYS WITHIN
SAID CITY BY TRANSMISSION LINES PROPOSED TO BE CONSTRUCTED BY SAID
ELECTRIC PLANT BOARD
WHEREAS, on October 22, 1962, the Electric Plant Board of the
`- City of Paducah, Kentucky, adopted a resolution having the following
title: "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY TO GRANT PERMISSION TO THE ELECTRIC PLANT BOARD
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY TO CROSS VARIOUS PUBLIC WAYS WITHIN
SAID CITY BY TRANSMISSION LINES PROPOSED TO BE CONSTRUCTED BY SAID
ELECTRIC PLANT BOARD", and
WHEREAS, Section 96.570(4) provides that permission therefor
be obtained in writing from the governing authority of said city.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, being the governing authority of said city, does
hereby grant permission for the Electric Plant Board of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, to cross various public ways within said city
by transmission lines and appurtenances thereunto as authorized by
Section 96.570(4) of Kentucky Revised Statutes, such public ways and
transmission lines being described as follows:
"DESCRIPTION OF TRANSMISSION LINE "A11 ON CITY PROPERTY
"The transmission line on a bearing of N. 11°-561 E. crosses
Washington Boulevard 153 feet west of the intersection of
Washington Boulevard and Pool Road Block Map 7, Page 35
(Bloom Avenue); thence across private property on a bearing
of N. 120-401 W. crossing Lincoln Boulevard 175 feet west of
Pool Road; thence across private property on the same bearing
crossing Roosevelt Boulevard 179 feet west of Pool Road page 33,
thence on the same bearing across private property and crossing
Ficklin Avenue 261 feet west of Pool Road; thence on the same
bearing crossing a 101 alley 3241 from the north edge of Ficklin
avenue page 31; thence on the same bearing to the west side of
Alexander Avenue where said avenue ends at the property line of
J. R. Lamb Estate page 29; thence in the utility strip along the
west side of Alexander Avenue page 27, crossing Kentucky Street
and Mocquot Street page 25, to the southwest corner of the
intersection of Alexander Avenue and Virginia Street page 23;
Jak thence on a bearing of North $00-001 east with and crossing
Virginia Street to the existing transmission line on the north-
east corner of Bloom Avenue and Virginia Street page 22, 21.11
DESCRIPTION OF LINE "B" ON CITY PROPERTY
"The line enters the west side of utility strip on Blaess Avenue at
the intersection of Blaess Avenue and the Paducah and Illinois
Railroad right of way as shown on Block Map 7, Page 81. The
line runs along the west side of Blaess Avenue crossing Starke
Avenue and Hill Street page 76 to the northwest corner of Blaess
Avenue and Markham Avenue page 75, at which point it crosses
Blaess Avenue to the northeast corner of Blaeas Avenue and Bell
Avenue page 70, 71, thence it runs along the east side of Blaess
Avenue to the northeast corner of Goodman Street and 30th Street
page 6$, thence along the east side of Goodman Street pages 64,
61, 58, 55 to the southeast corner of Goodman Street and Division

Street; thence across Division Street north 41°-58' east 91 feet
to property owned by John Miletich and wife page 51, thence across
private property to the south end of Lincoln Street where it dead
ends at the property line of Cole Lumber and Supply Company; thence
along the east side of Lincoln Street page 49, 46 in the utility
strip of said street to state highway right of way page 43; thence
across state highway right of way called the South Beltline to
that portion of Lincolc Avenue north of the said state highway;
thence in the utility strip along the east side of Lincoln Avenue
page 41 to the existing transmission line at the intersection of
Lincoln Avenue and Baumer Avenue.
The transmission line is located 7.5 feet more or less from the
street property line."
"Above references to bdoks and page numbers refer to city block
maps located in the office of the City Engineer of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky"
SECTION 2. In the construction and maintenance of such trans-
mission lines and appurtenances set forth in Section 1 hereof, the said
Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, as provided by
said Section 96.570(4) of Kentucky Revised Statutes, at its own expense
restore any of said public ways to their former condition as nearly as
may be possible, and shall not use the same in a manner as to impair
the usefulness thereof or to interfere with or obstruct the maintenance
thereof.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
