AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF CALDWELL STREET ALONG ITS
NORTHERLY BOUNDARY WEST OF 5TH STREET
BR IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COT-94ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby
authorize the closing of a portion of Caldwell Street along its
northerly boundary west of 5th Street, described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin at the northwest inter-
section of Caldwell Street and South 5th Street,
said point being 373 feet in a southerly direction
from the Southwest intersection of 5th and Norton
Street; thence at a right angle and in a westerly
direction a distance of 165 feet with the north-
erly line of Caldwell Street to the easterly line
of an alley; thence at a right angle and in a
southerly direction with the easterly line of said
alley a distance of 5.7 feet; thence at a right
angle and in an easterly direction a distance of
165 feet to the easterly line of South 5th Street;
thence at a right angle and in a northerly direction
with said line of South 5th Street a distance of
5.7 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTIOD? 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, is hereby authorized and empowered to institute and prosecute,
pursuant to the provisions of KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken
Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the portion of
the street referred to in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
