AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF RAY H. MULLEN MOTOR
COMPANY, INC. FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1962 RAMBLER
MOTOR VEHICLE FOR USE IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON
WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the
bid of Ray H. Mullen Motor Company, Inc. in the sum of $1,649.50
for the sale to theCity of one (1) new 1962 Rambler American
Deluxe 4 -door Sedan, having the following specifications:
Automatic transmission, Heater, Air Cleaner, Arm Rests,
Ash Receiver, Coat Hooks, Double -Safety Brake System, Dual Sun
Visors, Horn, Oil Filter, Seat Cushions, Foam -Front, Trunk Mat,
Vacuum Booster Fuel Pump with Filter, Colors to be specified by
the City. Delivery to be made in approximately thirty (30) days
from the time a purchase contract is executed and with vehicle to
be completely serviced.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said motor
vehicle as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
