AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ROWTON TV AND SOUND CORPORATION
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY OF ONE (1) AEROTRON
MODEL 6N100 BASE STATION FOR USE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY,
AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of Rowton TV and Sound Corporation in the sum of $720.00 for the sale
to the City of one (1) Aerotron Model 6N100 Base Station for trans-
mitting and receiving, and one (1) Transistorized Desk Microphone
for use by the Police Department of said City, including complete
installation. The equipment is to be warranted for a period of 90
days from date of installation and payment for same shall be made
within 10 days after installation.
Equipment is to have the specifications as contained in the
bid submitted to the City Manager on June 5, 1961.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said equipment
as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and it being
necessary for the public health and safety that the above communication
equipment be in use as soon as possible, an emergency is now declared
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
