AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TAYLOR-,'ILSON CHEVROLET-
CADILLAC, INC. FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF FIVE (5) NE99 1961 FOUR -
DOOR SEDAN MOTOR VEHICLES FOR USE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH
SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF :CO7,,11S3IOHER3 OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the
bid of Taylor Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc., in the sum of ;¢10,339.25,
less ?2,272.$0 for trade-in of four (4) 1958 Chevrolets now used by
the Police Department (Police Car No. 6 not being traded) making a
total delivery cost of •;.$,066.45 for the sale to the City of five
(5) new 1961 Model 1269 Biscayne four -door sedan automobiles, having
specifications as set out in the bid submitted by Taylor -Wilson
Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. Delivery to be made in approximately three
(3) weeks after the execution of the purchase contract.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said motor vehicle as
set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
