AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KING-WOODALL MOTORS, INC.
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW 1961 FALCON MOTOR VEHICLE
FOR USE IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE
SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of King -Woodall Motors, Inc. in the sum of $1,$91.75, less $319.55
for trade-in of one (1) 1952 Plymouth Coupe, making a total delivery
cost of $1,572.20 for the sale to the City of one (1) new 1961 Fordor
Sedan for use in the Department of Public Works, having the following
specifications;
144 Cu. in. 6 cylinder Engine; Fordomatic Transmission; Magicaire
Heater; Freight; Gas; five (5) 6.00 x 13 4 -ply Tires; Arm Rests Front
Only; Sun Visors; Vacuum Boosted Windshield Wipers; Ash Tray; Foam
Padded Front Seat; Dome Light; 12 Volt Battery; direction signals and
oil filter. Said motor vehicle to be painted according to City of
Paducah specifications and delivery is to be made in approximately
thirty (30) days from the date of the execution of a purchase contract.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said motor vehicle as
set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which
it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full
force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
