ADJACENT TO THE WEST CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
SUCH CITY, AND DECLARING THE DESIRABILITY AND NECESSITY OF SUCH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. It is hereby proposed that certain territory adjacent
to the west corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, more
particularly described hereinafter, be annexed to the City of Paducah,
Kentucky;: and that said property so proposed to be annexed is de -
Beginning at a point in the north line of the Blandville Road,
which beginning point is 60 feet more or less north of the north-
west corner of Lot One (1), Block A, of the Bellemeade Subdivision
and also the northwest corner of said subdivision as shown by
pla$ thereof recorded in Plat Book G, Page 7 in the office of
the McCracken County Court Clerk; thence in a southwesterly
direction with the north line of the Blandville Road and parallel
to the north boundary lines of the Stanley D. Petterroperty
(See Deed Book 183 Page 291), Jack Doublin property (See Deed
Book 223, Page 596j, Lillie Mae Coleman property (See Deed Book
119, Page 460), and the W. M. Carson property (See Deed Book
204, Page 294) a distance of 2m642,40 feet more or less to a
point in the north line of the Blandville Road; thence in a
southerly direction 60 feet more or less to a stone in the south
line of the Blandville Road, common corner to the G. R. Noble
tract and the northwest corner of the Carson Tract; thence south
4 degrees 33 minutes east along the line between the Carson and
Noble properties a distance of 581.7 feet to a stone; thence south
73 degrees 59 minutes east along the Carson and Noble joint property
line a distance of 557.0 feet to a stone; thence south 5 degrees
01 minutes east along the line between Carson and Noble a distance
of 427.7 feet to a stone; thence south 74 degrees 03 minutes east
741.1 feet to a stone; thence north 0 degrees 31 minutes west along
the line between Carson and J. R. Smith, a distance of 693.3 feet to
a stone, common corner to the Lillie Mae Coleman tract; thence north
25 degrees 39 feet west along the line between Carson and Coleman a
distance of 949 feet to a point located 220 feet south of the south
line of the Blandville Road; thence in a northeasterly direction
and parallel to the south line of the Blandville Road to a point
in the west property line of the Bellemeade Subdivision (See Plat
Book G, Page 7); thence in a northerly direction with the west
boundary line of the Bellemeade Subdivision 220 feet to a point
on the south line of the Blandville Road, the northwest Conner
of the Bellemeade Subdivision; thence in a northerly direction
across the Blandville Road 60 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. It is hereby declared that extending the boundary
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky by annexing the property described
This ordinance shall be published in at least ten
(10) issues of the Sun Democrat, a newspaper in Paducah, Kentucky,
and the extension of the city limits as herein proposed shall not

become effective until the adoption of an ordinance annexing the
property described in Section 1 hereof as herein proposed, and such
ordinance shall not be adopted until publication of this ordinance
as provided herein and until the expiration of a period of thirty
(30) days after the passage of this ordinance.
Notice is hereby given of a provision of Section 81.110 of
Kentucky Revised Statutes that one or more residents or freeholders
of the herein territory proposed to be annexed may, within thirty
(30) days after the enactment of this Ordinance, file a petition in
the Circuit Court of McCracken County, Kentucky, setting forth
the reasons why such territory, or any part of it, should not be
annexed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
